It was great to see so many of you at Lefferts Manor Association’s holiday party in December. LMA added a bit of spice to this function by involving our local PLG Arts group to provide some live entertainment. We are grateful to the band Axiom Addicts who played two wonderful sets of music including some holiday numbers. They were so professional and we were lucky that they agreed to play our little party. It helps when the lead singer and keyboard player live in the Manor. Thanks to Rina & Steve Kleege of Maple Street.
The junior set descended upon the glittery crafts table like a tornado and were engaged by a holiday program performed by PLG Arts members Laura Frenzer, Sean Kenin and Siobhan O’Neill. There was glorious singing, a ‘what’s your favorite thing about Christmas discussion, a spirited reading of The Night Before Christmas followed by the distribution of candy canes. Much thanks to our three actors for the time and effort they put in to this.
The Lefferts Manor Association aspires to keep improving its social events. We’d love your input and your participation. Please email : rwoelfling@optonline.net, if you’d like to be involved in next year’s party. Remember that LMA is a volunteer organization and the more who get involved, the more that can be accomplished. Start the year out right by renewing your LMA membership or joining anew for 2009. As they say the more, the merrier
