PLG Arts Jazz at the Ink Well Cafe presents Dr. Mambo and his Explosion Experience Thursday, March 10, from 8-10:30. The Experience Ensemble covers the bases from Caribbean sounds, reggae, salsa, Latin Jazz to Soukous and High Life as the rhythmic engines that drives the Experience Jazz extravaganza. They are firm believers in a Ghanaian proverb “SANKOFA, wonkyir” which, when translated, means “There’s nothing wrong with going back to your roots.”

Russ Spiegel, a two-time performer at PLG Arts Jazz at the Ink Well (408 Rogers Ave between Lefferts and Sterling streets), is a resident of the neighborhood.
